President’ Message
As I write this one of our members, Jimmie Schulyer, is in the U.C.
Davis Medical Burn Center in Sacramento suffering from burns received in a
fire in his apartment. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
We are already into fall, or very near it; doesn’t time fly by? We
have just played our Club Championship, won by Alex Merkner and our Senior
Club Championship was won by Paul Newman. So it looks like the New Year
will be coming by again, as it has in the past, and once again we have to
ask that members re-new their memberships early, not only to save money but
also to keep their Handicap Indexes current. You save money if you re-new
before December, and an application form is enclosed with this newsletter.
Please note that the ONLY way to re-new is by mail; we have lost money and
application forms when they are left at the clubhouse, so just mail your
check and form to the P.O. Box number on the top of the form. Makes life
easier for all.
Your Directors have again done a great job this year and should be
thanked by you when you see them for their work. Probably the hardest working
Director is your Secretary and Membership Chairman, Tom Yergalonis; he is the
one who has the task of collecting the application forms and the money and
making sure you get your name into the GHIN system so you continue to have
a handicap index. So please give Tom a special thanks for his work when you
see him. As you read this newsletter you may want to know that it is put
together by Mike Moffat who also keeps our web-site up and running. He
is deserving of you appreciation also.
I would be remiss if I did not express on the member’s behalf
appreciation of the work done by Tom Sims and his staff at CourseCo for
our tournaments; I don’t think the average member knows how much they
do for us; so kudos to all of them also.

Welcome to the NAPA GOLF CLUB (NGC) web site! This site is intended for use by the NGC members and perspective members to display events, tournament results and general information pertaining to the club and its tournaments.
Our home course is the challenging layout of Napa Golf Course at Kennedy Park located at 2295 Streblow Dr, Napa, California. We are longstanding members and participants in the Northern California Golf Association (NCGA) with an active membership of 225-250 members annually. Currently, our tournament schedule is (15) tournaments per year from January through December with a broad range of tournament formats. Tournament costs are $10 per player entry fee plus a tournament green fee of $35(cart not included). Included with the tournament round of golf is a prepared lunch and beverage after the round.
Annual membership dues are $90 for current member renewal or $100 for new or late membership registration. Junior members under the age of 18 are FREE! However, Junior members are not allowed to participate in Club tournament events.
